Obituary

Patterson, David H., 94, Johnstown, died March 19, 2020 at Harmony House. Born April 19, 1925 to the late Homer and Irene (Fay) Patterson. Preceded in death by former wife, Antoinette (Polito) Patterson; and children, Dennis Patterson and Kathleen (Varner) Patterson. Survived by sons, Gary Patterson and wife Paulette, Johnstown; David W. Patterson and wife Kathleen, Davidsville; and grandchildren, Alayna, Stephen, and Toni Patterson; Bradley, Brett, and Amanda Varner; and Sheila Cooper. David retired from Bethlehem (Gautier) Mills in 1978 as a Crane Operator and enjoyed his annual get together picnics with former Bethlehem employees. He enjoyed yard sales and listening to Rush Limbaugh and Mark Levine political talk shows. At one month shy of 95, his memory was like a 50-year-old. Family would like to thank the Harmony House staff for their care and support. At David’s request, there will be no viewing or service. Donations may be made in David’s memory to St. Jude.
