Debevits, David L. Sr., 84, Sidman, passed away on October 6, 2023. Born August 30, 1939, to John and Anna (Dezelon) Debevits. Preceded in death by parents; son, David Debevits Jr.; brothers, John, Bob, and Tony. Survived by former wife, Shirley Gall; son, Joseph Debevits (Teresa); daughter-in-law, Nicole Debevits; special niece, Carol Lucas; and Numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews, and friends. David worked as a dozer operator at Cooney Bros and served in the Army. David loved watching the Forest Hills Ranger Football with good friend Disco Dan and was known as “Ranger Dave.” He enjoyed auto racing, hill climbing, hunting, fishing, and working in the garage with Joseph. At the family’s request there will be no viewing or services.
