55, Johnstown, went home to be with the Lord, February 10, 2017 at home, surrounded by her loving family. Born December 11, 1961, in Ephrata, PA. She was a daughter of Harold and Joan (Fines) Spence. Preceded in death by her father. Debra is survived by her husband of 27 years Rodney N. Montgomery, her children Chris Costello, Johnstown; Shelby Coggin (Ian), Johnstown; Travis Montgomery, Johnstown; her grandson Gage; her siblings, Alan Spence, Manassas, VA; Cecil Spence, Manassas, VA; Daryl Spence (Diane), Sumerduck, VA;  Karen Lewis (Steve), Newport News, VA; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Debra was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. Debra earned her Associates degree in Nursing from Northern Virginia Community College in 1984, and then worked as a Registered Nurse at Prince William Hospital in Manassas, VA, and then at Lee Regional Hospital, Johnstown. She enjoyed sewing quilts for the NICU at Lee Regional Hospital, she enjoyed puzzles, she was very crafty, she loved her flower garden, she enjoyed cooking and baking, she loved her freezy pops, and her two dogs Harley & Oreo. Family and friends will be received on Saturday February 18, 2017 from 2 p.m. to  4 p.m. at Hindman Funeral Homes & Crematory Inc., 1521 Frankstown Rd., a memorial service will follow the visitation at 4 p.m.; Pastor Nancy Hoover officiating.
