Dennis A. Kline, 90, of Hastings, passed away September 3, 2021, at HAIDA Manor. Born June 11, 1931, in Spangler; he was a son of the late Dennis E. and Bertha M. (Strassler) Kline. He is also preceded in death by his wife, Rita M. (Drass) Kline; brothers, Henry, Herman, Bernard, Sylvester, Paul, Thomas “Elmer”, Philip, and Richard Kline; sisters, Mary Kibler, Ruth Roland, Rachel Kline, and Pauline Standiford, and baby Kline; grandchildren, Allen and Theresa Mae. Survived by children, Ronald Kline (Karen), Pittsburgh, Thomas Kline (Imogene), Debra Kline (Dick Becker), Joseph Kline (Trisha Lieb), Theresa Wojno (Pat), all of Hastings, John Kline (Gretchen), Greensburg, Michael Kline (Carie), Hastings, Mary Solnosky (Rich) Northern Cambria; grandchildren, Roxanne (Jason), Jessica, Olivia, Paige, Laura (Corey), Brandon (Kelsey), Justin, Eric, Mark and Ryan (Stephanie); great grandchildren, Lakin, Reese, Carsen, Zaiden, Jaylen, Emmett, Faith, Desmond and Natalie; sister-in-law, Frances Kline; special friend, Dorothy Bodek; many nieces and nephews, including a special nephew, Lester Kline. Dennis loved farming, first as a dairy farmer, then later as a beef farmer.  He also worked for the U. S. Department of Agriculture at the ASCS in Ebensburg where he was the county executive director for Cambria County.  He was a member of St. Bernard Church and Holy Name Society. He enjoyed maintaining his beef, grain, and hay farm; hunting, traveling, and spending time with his family. He was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers and Pirates fan especially during the 70s with Franco Harris. Friends will be received from 2 to 8 p.m. Thursday, September 9, 2021, at the Easly Hindman Funeral Home Inc., 333 Beaver St., Hastings. Funeral mass at 11 a.m. Friday, September 10, 2021, at St. Bernard Catholic Church, Hastings.
