Dennis F. Anna, 78, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, August 31. He was born in St. Boniface, PA, son of the late Anna and Wilfred Anna. He was preceded in death by his wife Dorothy L. and is survived by two sons: Jude M. Anna and wife, Traci of Altoona and Matthew D. Anna and Maggie, of Munhall; two daughters: Susan M. Geary of Somerset and Jennifer A. Richardson and husband Chas, of Lititz; nine grandchildren; four siblings: Kathleen, Connie, Linda, and Richard. He was preceded in death by seven siblings: Mildred (Penny), Gerald, Edgar, Robert, Mary Grace, Florence, and Daniel. Dennis graduated from Bloomsburg University with a Bachelor’s in Business Education and IUP with a Master’s in Education. He taught at Bishop Carroll and retired from Cambria Heights high school and had served in the Army reserves. He was a devout Catholic and active church volunteer for many years. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, uncle and friend to many. He treasured time with his family and friends. He always enjoyed good food and company. He was an avid gardener and always enjoyed trips to camp and time with his dog. Family and friends will be received Monday September 5, 2022 from 5 to 8  p.m., Easly-Hindman Funeral Home, 333 Beaver St., Hastings, PA 16646. Mass will be held Tuesday September 6, 2022 at 11 a.m., St. Bernard Catholic Church, Fr. Thaddeus Rettger, OSB, celebrant. Viewing one hour prior at the church. Burial at St. Boniface Cemetery.
