Ray, Dennis M., 62, Nanty Glo, passed away June 26, 2016 at home. Born March 5, 1954 in Johnstown. Son of the late Gene and Margaret (Simasek) Ray. Survived by loving wife, Sharon (Fletcher) Ray. Also survived by sons Shawn Ray (Ann), Summerhill, and Douglas Deyarmin (Melissa), Nanty Glo; daughter, Billie Deyarmin, Nanty Glo; brothers, Gene Ray, Nicktown, Joseph Ray, Johnstown, and Donald Ray, Johnstown; sister, Christine Anderson, Blairsville; and grandchildren, Gracie, Conner, Charlotte, and Jordan. Dennis was a coal miner at Consol Energy. He was in the 9th PA Reserves (Pittsburgh Rifles), a Civil War reenacting group. At the request of the deceased, there will be a private memorial service.
