Obituary

Muir, Donald C., 83, Mineral Point, passed away April 14, 2017 at The Grove at Latrobe.  Born Jan. 2, 1934 in New York City, NY, son of the late Daniel and Marion (Lupkat) Muir. Preceded in death by wife of 60 years, Loretta R. (Lindsey). Survived by daughter, Debra Butala and husband, Henry Lindahl, San Diego; sons, Jeff Muir, Central City; Steve Muir, Boynton Beach; grandchildren, Lori, Mark, Michael, Kevin and Desire; great-grandchildren, Logan, Cooper and Cassandra; and brother, Lawrence Muir. Donald was a veteran of US Army and Navy and fought in the Korean War Conflict. He worked as a water authority manager and operator for Jackson Twp. Water Authority and retired from Bethlehem Steel after 34 years. At Donald’s request, there will be no viewing or service.
