Lazere, Donald M. – 85, Cassandra, went to be with the Lord on Friday, September 15, 2017, at Memorial Medical Center.  Born July 10, 1932, in Cassandra; Son of the late John and Mary (Kelly) Lazere.  He was preceded in death by brothers, Jack, Paul, and Raymond; sisters, Doris, and Janet; father in-laws William Gorba and Joseph Politsky; mother in-law, Catherine Gorba Politsky; sister in-law Martha Franey; brother in-laws Don Franey and Allen Nickol. He is survived by loving wife Alberta (Gorba) of Cassandra; daughter, Karen Lazere and partner, Anthony Moyer, Portage; brothers, Fred and wife, Rose, Cresson; Patrick “Herb”, Virginia; Ken and wife, Lynn, Blue Ridge Georgia; sisters, Elizabeth of Portage; Margaret Gill and husband, Bob, of New port Ritchey Florida; brother & sister In-laws, Dorothy (Bob) Shields, Warren MI; William (Sue) Gorba, Lilly; Robert (Sue) Gorba, Johnstown; Barbara (Walt) Latoche, Alum Bank; Joann Nichol, Lilly. A Memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. on October 13, 2017 at Holy Family Catholic Church. Fr.
