Faust, Donald R.-72, Johnstown, died peacefully, November 5, 2016, at home with his loving wife of 51 years, and family by his side.  He was born February 1, 1944, in Johnstown, son of the late Robert and Jane (Weimann) Faust.  He was married to Mary Ann (McGough) on March 20, 1965.  He was a fun and loving father to three surviving children, son, Donald, and wife, Sherry (Rummell); daughter Sandra Miller, and husband, Dale; daughter, Tracee Stinson, and husband Garry.  He was a grandfather to two beloved grandchildren, Garrett and Madeline Stinson.  He is survived by his only brother Larry, and wife, Ivy (Hritz).  Don was a 1962 graduate of Johnstown High School.  He served in the United States Navy during the Cuban Missile Crisis aboard the USS Roberts in 1962. Don worked at Bethlehem Steel as a welder and retired from Johnstown America Corporation in 1998.  He was a member of Geistown VFW Post 155.  Don was an adventure seeker his whole life.  As a young adult, he was a horseman and fearlessly rode his horses around town.  He shared his passion for motorcycles with son Donny before turning to a more competitive hobby of stock car racing.  He eventually returned to his love of water and docked a boat, the Marianna, at Lake Raystown where he shared many happy moments with friends and family.  He was a fisherman and hunter with more luck at fishing.  He was a carpenter and mechanic, capable of fixing or building almost anything.  He will be remembered as a devoted husband, a proud father and a fun loving grandfather.  Friends and family will be received Wednesday, November 9, 2016 from 12  to 2 pm at Hindman Funeral Homes and Crematory Inc., 1521 Frankstown Rd.
