Kipp, Donald W., Johnstown, passed away June 5, 2017. Born October 21, 1931 in Johnstown. Son of the late Elmer D. and Ethel I. (Gates) Knipple. Proceded in death by brothers, Richard Kipp and James Knipple. Survived by loving wife of 59 years, Patricia A. (Hunter); son, Timothy Kipp (Diana), Glastonbury, CT; son, David Kipp, Clearfield; daughter, Michele Weaver (David Mattis), Johnstown; grandchildren, Emily Sarsfield (Dan), Andrew Kipp (Akila), Chris Kipp, Nicole Arlington (Tyler), Megan Weaver, and Madison Kipp; great granddaughter, Madeline Sarsfield; sister, Shirley Davis, Windber; sisters-in-law, Margaret Hunter and Nancy Hunter; son-in-law, Mark Weaver. Donald proudly served in the U.S. Navy and worked as a General Foreman at Bethlehem Steel. He graduated from the University of Pittsburgh and enjoyed running, marathons, golf, and having breakfast with his friends.
