Obituary

Paronish, Donald W., 71, Carrolltown, passed away January 10, 2022. Born November 9, 1950, to the late George and Margaret (Sereda) Paronish. Survived by his loving wife of 44 years, Diane (Drass) Paronish; his children, Dr. Michael (Rebecca) Paronish, Ohio, Deborah Paronish (Earl Baer) of West Virginia; grandchildren, Isaac, and Isabella Paronish; sister, Barbara Thrush, South Carolina; brothers, George (Dawne) Paronish, Pennsylvania, Ron (Joyce) Paronish, Pennsylvania, Paul (Maureen) Paronish, Pennsylvania, Nicholas (Denise) Paronish, Pennsylvania, along with numerous nieces and nephews. Donald took great pride in his family, his church, his gardening skills, and his many years as a nurse. Don was a graduate of Penn State University and Mount Aloysius College. He was employed at the Hollidaysburg Veterans Home, dedicated to caring for the veterans for many years. He enjoyed working on his compact tractor, in his yard and lending a helping hand to many friends, neighbors, family or anyone else. The family would like to thank the crews of the John Carroll Ambulance Association and the Hastings Area Ambulance for the help and support. Friends and Family will be received on Saturday, January 15, from 9am to time of service at 10am, St. Benedict Church, 100 S. Main Street, Carrolltown.
