Obituary

Peruso, Doris C., 91, Mineral Point, passed away March 19, 2023, at her home. Born March 23, 1931, to the late Benjamin and Mary (Cozzins) Cable. Preceded in death by husband, John Peruso; son, Richard Peruso; grandson, Ricky Garshnick, and son-in-law, Kevin Sheehan. Survived by children, Mary; John (Andrea); Joe (Mary); Dan (Kathy); Vicki Sheehan; Bill (Dana); and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great great-grandchildren. Doris was a wealth of knowledge. She enjoyed gardening, tending to her flowers, playing games, and gambling. Doris was known for feeding vagrants that would jump off the train in Mineral Point. She also housed and served many families during the 1977 flood. Family will receive friends Thursday March 23rd from 1 p.m. until time of service at 7 p.m. at Hindman Funeral Homes & Crematory, Inc., 1521 Frankstown Rd.
