Williams, Doris Jean-75, Johnstown, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on December 2, 2016 at Good Samaritan. Born October 30, 1941 in Johnstown; daughter of the late Edward James “EJ” and Agatha “Gay” (Gore) Simmons. Preceded in death by her parents and her daughter Kimberly Dawn Williams. Survived by daughter, Sheree Bittner, Conneaut, OH; son Robert “Bo” Williams and his wife Christine, Johnstown; daughter Marilyn Jean Silver, Owings Mills, MD; her grandchildren, Melissa, David, Marty, Erin Dawn, Robert “Brother”, Tommy, Emmalee, and Casey Dawn; 17 great- grandchildren; 1 great-great grandson; her siblings, Elaine Boring (Tom), Janet Nanna, Edward Simmons (Jackie), Douglas Simmons (Tammy); numerous nieces and nephews; and her beloved cat “Baby Blue”. She retired from Graphic Packaging in Pottstown, PA where she worked for many years. Doris was dedicated to her children and her grandchildren. She was a generous, hardworking, loving mother, grandmother, and sister; she enjoyed gardening, shopping, horseracing and spending time with her friends and family, Everyone knew she was a huge Elvis fan. A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, December 10, 2016 at Pike Grace Brethren Church, 541 Pike Rd. Johnstown, PA 15909. Pastor Craig Nanna officiating.
