Obituary

Dorothy H. McIntosh (Orris), 85, Johnstown, died October 11, 2019 at Arbutus Park Manor. Born December 11, 1933 in Portage, daughter of the late George and Elizabeth (Beni) Orris. Preceded in death by parents; brothers, Michael, Joseph and John; and sisters Joan, Elizabeth, Margaret and Rose. Surviving are her loving husband and high school sweetheart of 65 years, Kenneth C.; sisters, Irene (late Thomas) Oravecz of Camp Hill, and Velma (Michael) Bryja; son, Kenneth G. (Debra); daughter, Susan M. Nugent; grandchildren, Carrie Anne Roberts (William), Kristin Michelle and Joshua Paul Nugent, and Meghan Elizabeth McIntosh; great granddaughters, Nichole E. McIntosh, Abigale R. McKnight, and Makenzie A. Roberts; and great, great grandchildren, Liam D. and Kennedi R. McIntosh, and Greyson J. McKnight all of Johnstown. Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Dorothy was a graduate of Portage High School Class of ’52 and a longtime member of Beulah United Methodist Church where she had been in the church choir. She always expressed the importance of family and staying together as was impressed upon her by her mother. The family would like to extend a special thanks to the staff of Arbutus Park Manor for their personal and loving care. There will be no viewing at Dorothy’s request. Interment Forest Lawn Mausoleum.
