Gordon, Dorothy J.,“The Matriarch”, 80, Windber, died February 18, 2018 at Windber Hospice. Born October 24, 1937 to the late John and Bridget (Settlemeyer) Yoder. Preceded in death by husband Benjamin Gordon; daughter, Dorothy J. Kamler; and siblings, Virginia Oaks, Ida Rose Kuzmyak, Arda Churchey, and James Yoder Sr. Survived by children, Debra L. Manculich married to Dennis; Robert Mitchell married to Candace; James Yoder married to Amanda-Rae; siblings, John Yoder; Betty Bottorff; grandchildren Jenny Fullerton married to Zane; Rhonda McWhorter married to Jason; Joshua Manculich; Kaitlin Yoder; Kyle Yoder; Robert Mitchell Jr.; great grandchildren, Molly, Jacey, Camden, Chase, Eli, Bryce, Grace, and Levi; son-in-law, Ronald Kamler; and special niece, Denise Studiarny married to Dave. Dorothy loved animals, especially hummingbirds and elephants. She also enjoyed watching the Steelers. Dorothy’s family meant everything to her and she loved spending time with them. A special thanks to Dave, Denise, Betty, and Michele for all the care and attention they gave Dorothy. A private service will be held later at the convenience of the family.
