Yingling, Duane “Joe” P., 78, of Johnstown passed away November 28, 2020 at Memorial Medical Center. Joe was born January 10, 1942 to the late Leo and Gertrude (Troy) Yingling. Joe is survived by loving wife of 53 years Claire A. (Bauer) Yingling; daughters Martine Novak and husband James; Heather Richards and husband Carl; Mandy Davison and husband James; and Debbie Terchanik and husband Tom; sister Sandra Greely; sisters in law Wilda Yingling; Erma Yingling; and Charlotte Yingling; grandchildren Kayleigh (Micheal), Alexis, Hannah, Jacob, Sydney, Delanie, and Riley; great grandchildren Adalyn and Colson; and numerous nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by parents; and siblings Russell Wainwright and wife Gen; Jack Wainwright and wife Dorothy; Robert Wainwright and wife Betty Lou; Ronayne Cooper and husband Maurice; Louise Cordetsky and husband Michael; Edward Yingling and wife Anna Marie; William Yingling; Charles Yingling; Leo Yingling; Larry Yingling; and Ronald Yingling. Joe worked for Verison for 35 years. He was a former little league coach for East Taylor Jackson, a youth basketball coach, and a Conemaugh Valley sports superfan. His family fondly remembers how he never missed a game his grandchildren played. Joe loved to hunt and fish, watch the Pirates and the Steelers, and spend time with his family at Raystown Lake. Services will be private for the family and a celebration of life will be held at a later date.
