Hastings, PA – Edna Mae Stiffler, 85, of Hastings, passed away Wednesday October 26, 2022, at The Winds at Mattern Orchard Assisted Living. Born May 5, 1937, in Hastings; she was a daughter of the late Anthony and Amelia (Thomas) Becker. She is also preceded in death by her husband, Melvin D. Stiffler; sister, Lucy Carpinello and Bernie Becker; brothers, Blair, Ernest, Gerald, and Tommy Becker. Survived by her children; David Stiffler (Jean), Chris Stiffler (Alice), all of Baltimore; 4 grandchildren, Jenny Green (Ryan), Josh Stiffler (Allie), John Stiffler, Chelsey Stiffler Currie (Shane); great granddaughters, Charlotte “Charlee” and Elliott; sister, Mildred Carpinello (Nick), Hastings, sister-in-law, Ruth Becker, Indiana; numerous nieces and nephews. Edna Mae was an LPN at Miners Hospital. She was a member of the Red Hat Society and St. Bernard Church where she was a Eucharistic Minister. She enjoyed arts and crafts, decorating, shopping, sewing, quilting and playing cards. Friends and family will be received from 2 pm to 4 pm and 6 pm to 8 pm on Thursday November 3, 2022 at Easly-Hindman Funeral Home, Hastings. A funeral Mass will be held Friday November 4, 2022 at 11 a.m. at St. Bernard Catholic Church Father Thaddeus Rettger OSB, officiating. Viewing one hour prior at the church. Interment St. Bernard Cemetery.
