LANSBERRY – Edward H., 55, Altoona, formerly of Patton, died April 26, 2016, at UPMC Presbyterian, Pittsburgh. Born Nov. 29, 1960, in Spangler, son of the late Harold E. and Janet (Bobby) Lansberry. Member of St. Boniface Catholic Church. Preceded in death by sister, Judy Weakland, and brother, Kenny. Survived by sisters, Vicki Gray (Wayne), Patton, and Donna, Patton; and brothers, David, Marion Center; Charles, Altoona; and Michael Hoover (Jeni), Northern Cambria. Also survived by stepmother, Martha J. (Woodley) Lansberry, Patton; aunt, Annie Hoover, Patton; partner, Thomas Barbbarich, Altoona; instant family, Norma J., Mike and Gail, Cathy and Rich, Dorothy, Stephen and Sherry and Joseph; numerous nieces and nephews; and lifelong friend, Merle Patterson. Retired as a phlebotomist from UPMC Altoona, previously worked at Miners Hospital. He played the organ for several area churches and spending time with his dog, Prince. Member of Knights of Columbus. Friends will be received from noon to 2 p.m. Thursday at Vincent J. Good Funeral Parlor, 328 5th Ave., Altoona, and from 6 to 9 p.m. Thursday at Easly-Hindman Funeral Home, 333 Beaver St., Hastings. Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. Friday at St. Boniface Catholic Church, Hastings, Father Thaddeus Rettger. Interment, St. Boniface Cemetery. Donations to Central PA Humane Society.
