Obituary

Pretti, Edward, 73, Johnstown, formerly of Clearfield, passed away Aug. 29, 2014. Born Sept. 10, 1940, in Force, Pa., son of the late Tullio and Fiore (Fedrizzi) Pretti. Preceded in death by his brother, Emanual Pretti. Survived by his wife of 46 years, Joyce Marie (Dippold) Pretti, whom he married March 16, 1968; daughters, Julia Ann, married to Dr. Curtis Goldblatt, Johnstown; Victoria Ann Pretti, Saratoga Springs, N.Y.; and Nicole Pretti Rudkin, and her husband, Michael, Redondo Beach, Calif.; and grandchildren, Zoe, Ella and Sofia Goldblatt; and Maxwell and Samuel Rudkin. He graduated from Huston Township High School and Williamsport Technological Institute. Edward served in the U.S. Army and Reserves. He was a retired machinist, having worked for DuPont and Berg Electronics. After retirement, he drove cars for Thomas GMC and Honda.
