Hanlin, Edward William Jr., 87, Johnstown, died July 26, 2018 at Memorial Medical Center. Born August 21, 1930 to the late Edward and Agnes (Kusinskey) Hanlin Sr. Preceded in death by wife, Joan (Hess) Hanlin; siblings, Donald, Marion, Doris, and Robert; and daughters-in-law, Cindy and Julie Hanlin. Survived by sons, James Hanlin and husband William; Terry Hanlin and fiancé Kim Holt and her daughter, Kayleigh Holt; Robert Hanlin; Edward Hanlin III; grandchildren, Ashley and Jason; great grandchildren, Lydia and Cameron; and siblings, Tom and Patricia. Edward was a Korean War veteran, having served in the US Marines and the US Navy. He retired after 45 years of service from Kennametal and also worked at Laurel Valley Golf Club. Edward was a loving husband and father and loved golf and the Pittsburgh Steelers. Friends will be received Tuesday July 31 at Hindman Funeral Homes & Crematory, Inc., 146 Chandler Ave. from 10 a.m. until 12 p.m. Burial at Benshoff Hill Cemetery.
