Skelly, Eileen R., 83, Johnstown, died Sept. 21, 2016 at her home surrounded by her loving family. Born May 6, 1933 to the late Herman and Mary (Moschgat) Goller. Preceded in death by sister, Frances Jones and brother, Bernard Goller. Survived by husband of 61 years, Robert J. Skelly; children, Robert F. Skelly, (Janet); Brian Skelly; Laurie Polacek, (Steve); Melanie Mihelic, (Bryon); Karen Petrore, (AJ); and grandchildren, Rob and Cortney Skelly; Ken and Aaron Frazier; and Sara and Sami Mihelic. Eileen was a member of St. Gregory Church where she was also a member of the Altar and Rosary Society. She was the treasurer of the Daisytown Ladies Auxiliary and on the election board for 56 years. Eileen was an avid bingo player and was a tour guide for casino bus trips. Over the years Eileen survived breast cancer twice, stage 4 non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma, liposarcoma, and a heart attack before she finally succumbed to complications due to diabetes and Alzheimer’s. Eileen was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother who will be missed by all who knew and loved her. Friends will be received Fri. Sept. 23 at Hindman Funeral Homes & Crematory, Inc., 1521 Frankstown Rd., from 2:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. A funeral mass will be held at 10 a.m. Sat. Sept. 24 at St. Gregory Church.
