Hagens, Elaine L., 78, Vintondale, died September 28, 2018 at Memorial Medical Center. Born December 19, 1939 to the late Frank and Mary (Butala) Marcus. Preceded in death by husband, Olin A Hagens Jr. Survived by daughters, Colleen Marie Hagens; Kasey Lynne Hagens and fiancé Kevin Miske; grandchildren, Cheyenne Marie Filicky and boyfriend Tony Kuhn; Leah Nichole Filicky; sister, Margaret Sherwood wife of the late Joseph Sherwood; and numerous nieces and nephews. Elaine loved to cook, she especially enjoyed making pierogies. She enjoyed photography and passed that on to her daughter. They would enjoy trips to shoot pictures together. She loved doing activities on the Ghost Town Trail including biking, walking and cross-country skiing. She was a green thumb gardener and loved to plant and tend to her garden.  There will be no viewing or service. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Elaine’s family to help with her extensive medical bills.
