Obituary

Elda Christine Brown of Sidman was a caring wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend.  She passed away September 19, 2023, surrounded by family, at the age of 68.

Elda is preceded in death by her daughter, Stephanie Gardner. She is survived by her husband of 46 years, Russell Wayne Brown, and her daughters, Jenny Brown (married to Daniel Michael), and Dana Sullivan (married to Michael Sullivan), whom she laughed with and “tsk”ed often. She loved spoiling her six grandchildren; Riley, Morgan, and AJ Gardner, and Liam, Emma, and Owen Sullivan; with fresh cookies and huge bags of M&Ms.

She was the daughter of Charles and Zelda Claycomb and sister of Dorothy Lermineau, Sarah Brown, Charles Claycomb, Pamela Lloyd, Donald Claycomb, Lucinda Kelley, and Clayton Claycomb. She was an aunt and great aunt to many nieces and nephews.

At Elda’s request, there will be no funeral or memorial service.
