Ella Mae Stossel, 86, formerly of Richland Township went to be with the lord on February 19, 2018. Ella Mae was born January 10, 1932 in Patton, PA, daughter of Alvin M. and Ruth A. (Boley) Dietrick.  Preceded in death by her parents and husband Michael Stossel; sisters Elaine Bennett, Ruth Volk, Mary Lois Gill, Jean Ann Chase, and brother, Richard Dietrick. Ella is survived by her loving children, daughter, Deborah Stossel wife of Kelly Garrison, Charleston, SC; son, Murray Stossel, husband of Pamela, Windber, PA; granddaughter Jennifer (Jeff) Stossel-Anderson, Attica, NY and grandson Michael (Katie) Stossel, Windber, PA; and great grandchild Kinsley. Ella Mae was retired from Metz Catering and the Richland School District where she was employed as head cook. Her motto “All children had a hot lunch regardless of money”.  She was a devout Catholic and former member of St Benedict Catholic Church and the Richland American Legion Post #849, Ladies Auxiliary. Ella enjoyed reading, walking, traveling, visits with family, attending horse shows, soccer matches, and dinners with family and friends. She was blessed to meet her first great grandchild. She was loved by many and will be sorely missed. As her family we begrudgingly give her to our holy father as we continue to love and cherish the memories we hold deep in our hearts. “Thank You for being a wonderful parent, mom, and friend” until we meet again!  A mass will be held at St Benedict Catholic Church at a later date.
