Craig, Elsie L., 73, Johnstown, died on Dec. 15, 2015 at Memorial Medical Center. Born Apr. 15, 1942, Johnstown, daughter of the late Adam and Bertha (Beatty) Droz. Preceded in death by loving husband, Richard; brother, William Droz; sisters, Mary Frankofsky and Dorothy Weigle. Survived by children, Adam Craig; Michael Craig and wife, Paula; Melanie Loy and husband, Charles; Jodi Goenner and husband, Chris; grandchildren, Aaron Craig; Jessica Craig and fiancé, EJ Churchey; Breanna Morbito and husband, Andrew; Anson Craig and wife, Brittany; Pierson and Adelaya Craig; Devin and Brenton Goenner; Emma, Ava, and Isla Loy; soon-to-be great-grandson, Everett Jon Churchey; sisters, Helen Farkas; Jean McClintock; Linda Spencer; Bonnie Macy; Claudia Lee; numerous nieces and nephews; and countless family and friends. Elsie was one of Jehovah’s Witnesses and dedicated her life to serving Jehovah God and preaching the good news. She comforted others with the Bible’s hope of a resurrection and a time when “death will be no more.” – Rev. 21:4. She loved her family and was always thinking of others. She had a listening ear for any who needed advice, loved writing poems, and was an avid bargain hunter. Charles Loy will give funeral talk, Dec. 19, 3 p.m. at the Benscreek Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 103 Hillview St, Johnstown. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the family.
