Hartman, Emma E., 98, Ebensburg, passed away January 26, 2019 at Cambria Care. Born October 18, 1920 to the late Joseph and Mary (Privovich) Svoboda. Preceded in death by her parents; her first husband Joseph C. Fortier, second husband Frank Urbas, and third husband Glenn Hartman; her sisters, Olga, Helen, Edna; her brothers, Carl, Rudolph, Theodore, William, and Fred; and her great-granddaughter Autumn Lynn Danchanko. Survived by children, Joseph A. Fortier (Jacquelin), Orange, CA; Vicki L. Oaks, Ebensburg; grandchildren, Christopher Kirkpatrick, Dana Danchanko (Eric), Lisa Britt (Stephen), Karen Dahler (Mark); great-grandchildren, Daric, Liam, Abigail, Logan, Brandon, Brooke, and Owen. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and other members of extended family. Emma worked as a cook at East Taylor Grade School, and also tended to the care of her home and family. Those who knew her, know she was a foodie, she enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren, she sung in the choir at her Summit Chapel, where she was also a longtime member. At Emma’s request, there will be no services. Donations in memory of Emma can be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, 225 N.
