Pasadena, MD – Eva J.L. Roser, 69, of Pasadena, MD, formerly of Cherry Tree, passed away Wednesday September 29, 2021. Born July 10, 1952, in Columbus, OH; she was a daughter of the late Carl Somerville and Genevieve (Rummel) Young. She is also preceded in death by, step father, Robert Young,  brother, Thomas Somerville. Eva was a member St. Jane Frances de Chantal Roman Catholic Church, Nicktown Fire Company Ladies Auxiliary, and American Legion Post 40 Ladies Auxiliary. She enjoyed crocheting, needle point, gardening, and she loved all crafts. Survived by her husband of nearly 51 years, Lester B. Roser Sr., whom she married, November 28, 1970; daughter, Lesley Hunter and husband Bruce; son, Lester Roser Jr., all of Pasadena, MD; sister-in-law, Joann Somerville, Millville, NJ; numerous nieces and nephews. Friends will be received at the Easly Hindman Funeral Home Inc, 333 Beaver St., Hastings on Tuesday  October 5, 2021 from 6 to 8 p.m.  A funeral service will be conducted at the funeral home on Wednesday October 6, 2021 at 11 a.m. Viewing one hour prior to the service. Burial will be held at Laurel Swamp Cemetery, Clymer. Memorial donations may be made to Nicktown Fire Company Ladies Auxiliary, PO Box 91, Nicktown, PA 15762 or Woods Adult Daycare Center, 8227 Cloverleaf Dr., Millersville, MD 21108. Arrangements in care of the Easly-Hindman Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., “Exclusive Provider of Veterans and Family Memorial Care.” Condolences may be made at HindmanFuneralHomes.com
