Hunt, Fay Aileen (Rummel), 90, Ebensburg, went home to be with her Lord and Savior Oct. 31, 2016. Born May 24, 1926 in Johnstown to the late Carman and Wilda (Rowland) Rummel. Preceded in death by husband, John Hunt; son, Barry Hunt; daughter, Melanie Hunt; grandson, Damian Hunt; sister, Margie Cameron; and brothers, Dean and Fred Rummel. Survived by son, Milton Hunt, Pittsburgh; daughters, Holly Rolt, Ebensburg; Marilyn Balog, Woodford, VA; brother, Leighton Rummel, FL; sister, Carol Hunt, Waymart, PA; 10 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. Fay was a lifelong member of Pleasant Hill Church of the Brethren and the Jackson Township Woman’s Club. She loved cooking, baking, and doing word searches. Fay had a servant’s heart and enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. Family and friends will be received Nov. 3 from 4-8 p.m. at Hindman Funeral Homes & Crematory, Inc., 1521 Frankstown Rd. Funeral service will be held Nov. 4 at 11 a.m. at Pleasant Hill Church of the Brethren. Pastor Rob Wolf, officiating. Interment at Benshoff Hill cemetery. Fay’s family would like to extend a heartfelt thanks and appreciation to the staff at Amber Hills of Cambria Care Center and of Heartland Hospice for the wonderful care that they’ve given over the past year.
