Freidhoff, Florence M., Johnstown, died Oct. 25, 2014, at the Presbyterian Home.  Born July 28, 1916, in Johnstown, daughter of the late Simon and Nellie (Tilley) Eckenrod. Florence is predeceased by her husband, Edgar H. Freidhoff; grandchildren, Tami, Traci and Pauline Freidhoff, Michele Knisel and David Washington; sisters, Martha, Jeanette, Stella, Mary, Bertha, Georgeina and Alma; brothers. Joseph, Walter and Albert; and sons-in-law, Gerald Everhart and Robert Moore.  She is survived by these children, Dorthy Everhart, Johnstown; Darlene, married to James Straub, Vinco; Donald Freidhoff, married to former Carol Jeffreys, Johnstown; Doris, married to William Knisel, New Germany; Deborah, married to Ray Washington, Johnstown; Diane Moore, Elgin, Ill.; and Delford, married to former Rhonda Applegate, Aberdeen, Ohio. Also survived by sister, Nellie Conlin, Columbia; and 15 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren; and 10 great-great-grandchildren. Florence was a member of St. John Gualbert Cathedral, a lifetime homemaker, former election board member and judge of elections. Member of the Farm Women’s Association and the Alter and Rosary Society at the former St. Joseph’s Church. Friends will be received from 2 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Hindman Funeral Homes & Crematory Inc., 1521 Frankstown Road. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. John Gualbert Cathedral, the Very Rev. James F. Crookston, officiating.
