Obituary

Ryan, Francis W., 99, of Johnstown, passed away on May 17, 2023. Born February 9, 1924, son of the late John and Clarissa (Fitzpatrick) Ryan. Survived by many nieces and nephews; and extended family and friends. Preceded in death by parents; loving wife, Ruth; brothers, Ronald, Richard, and John; and sisters, Elizabeth Meyer, Gertrude Reynolds, and Mary Agnes Powell. Francis was employed at Bethlehem Steel as a crane operator for many years. Francis was awarded a Bronze Star in 1945, he was a highly decorated Veteran. He will be deeply missed by his family. A service will be held on May 31st at 12 p.m. at Forest Lawn Chapel, 1530 Frankstown Rd., Johnstown, PA 15902.
