Rively, Frank L. “Red”, 86, Johnstown, passed away August 19,2023. Born in Johnstown October 31, 1936, to the late Wilbur and Mable (Wilson) Rively. Preceded in death by brothers, James, Edwin, and Ralph Rively; and sister Ruth Ann Bennett. Survived by his loving wife, Betty (Heinrich) Rively; son, Randy Rively of the Philippines; daughter, Tammy Everett, wife of Greg Everett of Coopersburg, PA; grandson, Jordan Everett of Coopersburg; and numerous nieces and nephews . Frank served in the United States Army from 1959 to 1962 and was a member of the Zion Lutheran Church. He worked as a steelworker at Bethlehem Steel Corporation as well as Johnstown America Industries. He loved college football, especially West Virginia University, Penn State, University of Pitt, Ohio State, and Michigan. He was also a big Jeff Gordan fan, loved to camp with family, enjoyed boating at Lake Raystown, and was an avid hunter. He loved spending time with family and friends at various beaches, was a snowbird in the winter and spent his time in Bradenton, FL. He also loved spending time with his daughter’s dog “Holly Girl.”  Family and Friends will be received on Tuesday August 22, 2023, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. and service along with Military Honors will be held following the viewing at Hindman Funeral Homes & Crematory Inc., 1521 Frankstown Rd. Johnstown PA 15902. Pastor Michael Vandyke, officiating. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the American Heart Association and American Cancer Society.
