Pegg, Gary E. Sr., 73, Johnstown, passed away at Good Samaritan Palliative Care Unit May 4, 2020. Born March 5, 1947 in Johnstown to the late George and Irene (Gabriel) Pegg Jr. Preceded in death by daughter in law, Missy (Hanley) Pegg. Survived by loving wife of 53 years, Judy; sons, Gary E. Pegg Jr., Brian A. Pegg; sister, Linda R. (Pegg) Davidheiser (Doug); sisters in law, Donna (Noonan) Setzer (Jerry); Bettie (Noonan) Ponce (Robert); nieces, Vanessa and Lauran; and nephews, Michael and Zachary. Gary worked for Bethlehem Steel for over 30 years before retiring from Jemcor. He was a member of Christ Lutheran Church, St. Clair Tremont Club and Ferndale Sportsman’s Club. Gary was an avid hunter and fisherman and loved spending time with his family. He will be sadly missed by his family and friends. Services will be held privately.
