Lantzy, George Jay, 60, Johnstown, formerly of Pittsburgh, died unexpectedly at home June 18, 2017. Born Oct. 27, 1956, Indiana, son of Charles Sr. and the late Margaret (Geisel) Lantzy. Preceded in death by sister, Shirley “Bootsie” Lantzy. Survived by brothers, Charles Lantzy, Jr. and Ronald Lantzy, both of Pittsburgh; Carl, Jessie, and Rickie Lantzy, all of Johnstown; sisters, Terry and Mary Anne Lantzy, both of Johnstown; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles; and friend, Raymond McAdams. George was a devoted Pittsburgh Pirates, Penguins, and Steelers fan. He had a heart of gold and would do anything for anyone and was a loving brother to all his siblings. George enjoyed fostering dogs for the Habitat for Hounds. At George’s request, there will be no viewing or service.
