Anthony, George Llewellyn, 85, Johnstown, passed away April 18, 2022. Born January 25, 1937, to the late Percy L. and Helen (Wissinger) Anthony. Preceded in death by his loving wife of 49 years Cecelia (Scott) Anthony; and sister, Lurlene R. Tyger, nephew Thomas A. Tyger, and faithful companions Trixie, Blandings, and Zoey. Survived by sons, Scott (Andrea) Anthony of Punxsutawney, and Randy Anthony (Renee) of Johnstown; granddaughters, Hannah (Jeremy) Wise, Emily Anthony, Breanna Schellhammer (Dino Tessari), Jordyn Anthony, and Ashley; several nieces and nephews; lifelong friends Dave, Mildred, and Kay; caring neighbor Rita; and his furry friend, Penny. George worked 30 years for the Westmont Hilltop School District as teacher. He also was a self-employed tax preparer. He belonged to the F.O.E. 1811. George was a computer enthusiast. He will be sadly missed by his family and friends.  At George’s request there will be no services.
