Gerald Mihelic, 78, of Johnstown passed away Saturday March 25, 2017 at his home. Born April 20, 1938 in Johnstown; he was a son of the late Louis and Louise (Grasa) Mihelic. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Beverly (Schaffer) Mihelic, daughter, Pamela Mihelic; son, Douglas Mihelic, and brothers Joseph and Donald Mihelic. Mr. Mihelic was a Mill Rite at Bethlehem Steel. He had also worked at Harrison Boyer for 10 years. Survived by a son, Gerald B. Mihelic, step daughter, Deborah Burkhart both of Johnstown, sisters, Esther Porter, State College, Eleanor Arcurio, NJ; 7 grandchildren and many great grandchildren. Family and friends received Wednesday March 29, 2017, from 1 to 4 pm at Hindman Funeral Homes, 146 Chandler Ave. A funeral service will follow at 4pm.
