Choka, Gertrude M., 89, Johnstown, died February 29, 2020 at Laurelwood Nursing Home. Born September 17, 1930 in Johnstown. Daughter of the late Cornelius and Blanche Steep. Preceded in death by parents; and husband of 66 years, Raymond Choka Sr. Survived by sons, Raymond Jr. of Johnstown; Charles of Delton, FL; Roger of Johnstown; and Erik of Johnstown; four grandchildren; and 3 great grandchildren. Gertrude was an excellent homemaker and loving mother. She was also employed by the W.T. Grant Company. She was a member of the Second Presbyterian Church in Moxham and worked within the church for many years. Keeping with Gertrude’s wishes, there will be no viewing.
