Stumpf, Gertrude P., 80, Hastings, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, June  13, 2018, at UPMC Altoona. She was born June 2, 1938 in Spangler, a daughter of the late Michael and Eleanor (Simmons) Urban.  Gertrude is preceded in death by her parents; her husband Henry Stumpf; her son, Timothy Stumpf; her brother, George Urban; her sister Judith Meyers-Kerfonta; her brother Michael Urban Jr. She is survived by her son Edward Stumpf (Deborah), Northern Cambria, her granddaughters Samantha & Taylor; her brother Matthew Urban (Evelyn), Hastings; her sister Deborah Berish ,Northern Cambria; her brother Joseph Urban, Hastings; her sister-in-law Joan Shrenkle, St. Benedict; and numerous other family members. Gertrude worked in the Supply Unit at Miners Hospital for many years,  she loved her family, and enjoyed spending time with them, especially her grandchildren, she loved her cats, and she loved going to McDonald’s. At the request of the deceased there will be no viewing or services. Interment will be private at the convenience of the family.
