Bennett, Glenna E., 79, Johnstown, passed away January 21, 2021 at Memorial Medical Center. Born March 3, 1941 to the late William and Rose (Boggs) Gethers Sr. Preceded in death by husband, Charles Bennett; brothers, William Sr., Chester G., Curtis, and Charles E. Gethers; and sisters, Ethel Shipman; Phyliss Hardison; and Juanita Hill. Survived by children, Teresa, David (Heather), and Cheryl Bennett; Mark Jackson; grandchildren, Shannon, Kiara, and Diondre Bennett; Shannara Scott; Deidre Ponthieux; Samira Jackson; great grandson, Dawson Larson; siblings, Harold Gethers (Patricia); Linda Brandon; and numerous nieces and nephews. Glenna retired from Penelec. She enjoyed cooking for her grandchildren, going to casinos, and crossword puzzles. There will no viewing or services.
