Grumbling, Grace L. (Stutzman), of Upper Yoder died unexpectedly on June 20th, 2020, at age 88. She was born Feb. 28, 1932, and was married to Norman E. Grumbling, Jr. for 60 years until his death in 2011. She is survived by 4 children: Norma (Ronald) Waters of Canton, OH, David Grumbling of Johnstown, PA, Rob (Mary) Grumbling of Pattersonville, NY, and Linda (Gary) Firster of Etters, PA; 10 grandchildren, and 10 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her parents Walter & Nell Ream, her brother Walt Ream, and her husband. Grace was a lifelong faithful member of Johnstown Third Brethren Church, serving most recently as pianist and treasurer. She held many official roles in the Brethren Church on local, regional, and national levels as well. She did much charitable work, including driving for the American Red Cross. For the last 42 years, she has worked for H.R. Block each year. Grace bowled in leagues for the past 50 years, and she loved all outdoors activities, as well as reading, hunting, gardening, many kinds of craft work, her pets, and food (both preparing and consuming!) She loved her family and friends, and she loved the Lord with all her heart, and spent all her time showing that in her service to those around her. A memorial service will be held on July 11, 2020 at Third Brethren Church, 184 Spring St., in Morrellville. There will be visiting at 10:00 am, and the service will be at 11:00 am. Due to Covid-19 restrictions, we must require wearing of face masks and observing social distancing. In lieu of flowers, friends are welcome to honor Grace with a donation to Third Brethren Church.
