Obituary

Cosgrove, Gwen S., 57, Johnstown, passed away on November 14, 2019 at her home. Born May 11, 1962, in Warwick, R.I., daughter of Earl W. “Bill” and Loretta (Lamont) Galloway. Gwen is is preceded in death by her mother. Gwen is survived by her father, her step-mother, Bonnie Galloway, her loving husband of 14 years, Kevin C. Cosgrove; her daughter, Althea Goldstrohm (CJ), Friedens; her grandson, Malachi; her siblings, Todd, Troy, Jay, Jeff, and Greg; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and other members of her extended family, and friends. Gwen was graduate of Westmont-Hilltop High School Class of ’80, she also received an Associates in Culinary arts from Westmoreland Community College. Gwen was a well-known chef in the Johnstown area for many years, she enjoyed cooking for her friends and family, and was known for her “Gwenchiladas”, she enjoyed caring for wildlife, she was also a very talented artist, her family was most important to her. Friends and family will be received on Thursday November 21, 2019 from 11 AM to 2 PM at Hindman Funeral Homes & Crematory Inc. 1521 Frankstown Road, A memorial service will be held immediately following visitation at 2 PM.
