Rager, Hazel H., 89, Benshoff Hill, went to be with the Lord,  February 28, 2019 at her home. Born November 10, 1929 in Johnstown, daughter of the late Merle D. and Nancy R. (Hunt) Varner.  She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Blair V. Rager, two grandchildren, and her siblings, George, Merle, Bob, Blair, Mary, and Viola. Hazel is survived by her 4 children, Rickey L. Rager (Linda), Hollsopple; Larry S. Rager (Evelyn), Richland; Roy A. Rager (Rhoda), Benshoff Hill; and Debbie L. Rager, Johnstown; 2o grandchildren; 48 great grandchildren; 1 great-great grandchild; as well as numerous nieces nephews, and other members of extended family. Hazel made it her life to care for her family, and her home. According to the kids, she was the best cook in the whole world, and the greatest mother. Hazel was a devout Christian, she study the bible daily and also prayed daily for her entire family. She loved everyone and in return they loved Hazel, especially her grandchildren, whom she would instill her wisdom on when it was necessary.   Friends and family will be received Monday March 4, 2019 from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. at Hindman Funeral Homes & Crematory, Inc., 1521 Frankstown Rd., The funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday March 5, 2019 at the funeral home. Pastor Rob Wolf, officiating. Interment will be at Forest Lawn Cemetery.
