Reininger (Alt), Heather M., 39, Johnstown, passed away June 21, 2014 at Memorial Medical Center. Born December 26, 1974 in Johnstown; daughter of Richard E. and Janice K. (Ford) Alt, Windber; Preceded in death by infant sister, Michelle Lynn. Survived by her husband Scott A. Reininger, Johnstown; her children, Emily Marie, Remi Noelle, Penelope Paige, and Fiona Belle; her parents; her brother Jason Alt and his wife Stefanie, Columbia, MD; her Mother in-Law Linda and Father-in-Law James Reininger, Johnstown; and a loving aunt to 5 nieces and 2 nephews. She was a Kindergarten Teacher at Forest Hills Elementary where her colleagues weren’t just friends they were family. She was a Squad Mom for PWFL Cheerleaders, she designed the yearbook for her school, she loved to teach, she enjoyed baking and sharing with the students, but most importantly she was a dedicated mother to her four girls. There will be no viewing at her request. Friends will be received on Monday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at Hindman Funeral Home 1521 Frankstown Rd. A Memorial service will be held on Tuesday at 11 a.m. at Mt. Calvary Lutheran Church, Richland. Pastor Scott and Carol Custead, officiating.
