Jeanjaquet, Hugh Grant, 22, Johnstown, sadly passed away July 26, 2023, after a devasting house fire. Born March 23, 2001, in Cebu City, Philippines. Preceded in death by beloved little sister, Vindemiatrix “Vindy” Kohan; father, John Kohan; grandfather, Nelson Jeanjaquet; and beloved dog, Leia. Survived by loving mother, Katherine Jeanjaquet-Kohan and father Tyler Skovensky; loving siblings, Hailey Jeanjaquet and Tucker Skovensky; maternal grandmother, Armida Kimpton and husband Peter; Pappy John Kohan; Mima Kelly Skovensky-Smith; aunts and uncles, Glesie and Dan Briosos; Arnel and Keith Jeanjaquet; Jacklord and Mirosol Jeanjaquet; Richard Kohan; beloved dog, Bruno; numerous cousins; best friends, Nate Vamos; Jake Ardary; Levi Allison; Christian Grandinetti; Kole Lichtenfels; Collin Crocco; and all of his many high school and college friends. Grant was a 2020 graduate of Bishop McCort and was entering his senior year of nursing school at St. Vincent College, where he was on the Dean’s List 3 years in a row. He was a nurse technician at Conemaugh ER and planned to join the Navy to be a Navy nurse after graduation. Grant excelled at playing football and basketball at Bishop McCort and enjoyed hiking, fishing, and golfing. Family and friends will be received Friday August 4th from 2-8 p.m. at Hindman Funeral Homes & Crematory, Inc., 1521 Frankstown Rd. Funeral Mass will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at Our Mother of Sorrows Church. Father Mark Begly, officiating. Interment to follow at Grandview Cemetery.
