Mottin, Jack L. Sr., 79, Nanty Glo, passed away peacefully April 26, 2024, at his home. Born June 23, 1944, to the late John and Vera (Simmons) Mottin. Preceded in death by sister, Linda Fenchak, and brother-in-law, Jack McGlynn. Survived by loving wife of 52 years, Joanne (Corti) Mottin; children, Jack L. Mottin Jr. and wife Amy; Jennifer L. Sleppy and husband Jamie; Jill Marie Summerson and husband Terry; grandchildren, Gavin, Brandon, Justin, Hunter, Madison, Lauren, and Alexander; siblings, Nancy McGlynn; Charlotte Spencer and husband Robert; Ken Mottin and wife Marlene; Diane Kubat and husband Steve; and brother-in-law, Charley Fenchak. Jack was a veteran of the U.S. Army. He enjoyed working in the garage and around the yard. Jack will be deeply missed. At Jack’s request there will be no viewing or service.
