Hammond, Jack R., 87, Johnstown, passed away June 28, 2019. Born November 3, 1931 in Johnstown. Son of the late Raymond T. and Ann E. (Barnhart) Hammond. Preceded in death by his parents; his brother Thomas W. Hammond; and his grandson Ryan Hammond. Survived by his loving children, Scott Hammond (Rose), Winter Haven, FL; Tracey Bambino (Mike), Johnstown; Natalie Hammond, Ocean City, MD; and Doreen Bergeron, Holyoke, MA; grandchildren, Brittany, Aaron, Jacob, Justin, Evan, Elizabeth, and Andrea; as well as several great-grandchildren. Jack served our country in the U.S. Air Force and was a veteran of the Korean War. He graduated from Ferndale High School in the Class of 1949. He was retired from the offices of Bethlehem Steel Corp. The family wishes to extend a special thank you to the staff at Rosewood Personal Care, and to Tina and Three Rivers Hospice.
