Senner, James C. “Lurch”, 66, Johnstown, died Nov. 15, 2015 at his home surrounded by his family. Born Aug. 23, 1949, Johnstown, to the late Michael and Mildred (Cook) Senner. Survived by his loving wife, Elaine (Kohut); daughters, Tara Senner-Jenkins; Tiffany Senner and fiancé Joey Inscho, both of Johnstown; grandson, Stephen Jenkins, Johnstown; brother, Larry Senner married to Alicia Sorban, Connecticut; and a granddog, Striker. James was a US Navy veteran, worked as a Parking Valet at Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center and Vo-Tech. He was a Civil War reenactor for over 40 years, lifetime member of the Sons of the Union Veterans of the Civil War, member of the 12th PA, 50th PVI, 63rd PA, 54th PA, and 114th PA Zouaves. James enjoyed being a volunteer for Jacqueline’s Rangerettes, where he was affectionately known as “Lurch”. Friends will be received Nov. 20 from 3 p.m. until the start time of service at 7 p.m. at Hindman Funeral Homes & Crematory, Inc., 146 Chandler Ave., Pastor Joe Shawley, officiating.
