Chilcot, James G. “Jim”, 77, Johnstown, passed away April 18, 2018 at Memorial Medical Center. Born September 12, 1940 in Johnstown, he was a son of the late Gordon J. and Margaret Louise (Abraham) Chilcot.  Jim is preceded in death by his parents, and his brothers Danny and Jeff. He is survived by his loving wife of 55 years, Mary Louise (Myers); daughter Karen Henrichs and her husband Don, Dubois; son James G. Chilcot III and his wife Jennifer, Sidman; his grandchildren, Ben, Franki, and Gabby Henrichs, Tyler, Braden, and Justin Chilcot; his siblings, Ronald Chilcot, Ohio; Raymond (June) Chilcot, Cherry Tree; Darlene (Ron) Bellak, Johnstown, Gary Chilcot, Johnstown; and his extended family including many nieces and nephews. Jim was retired from Bethlehem Steel where he worked as a Millwright. He is best known in the Johnstown area for making “Papa’s Homemade Fudge.” He was a loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather, and brother.  Jim was a true family man; he adored his grandchildren. He liked to make people laugh, and he was generous with his time and talents. Jim never hesitated to offer a helping hand to anyone who needed it. He enjoyed visiting casinos and playing the lottery in hopes of hitting it big, so he could give it away to his family and friends.  He enjoyed woodworking and tinkering on projects with his son and grandchildren. Friends and family will be received on Sunday April 29, 2018, from 1 pm to 3 pm at Hindman Funeral Homes & Crematory Inc., 1521 Frankstown Road, Johnstown.
