Harr, James Lewis Andrew, 51, Johnstown, died unexpectedly Dec. 13, 2016 at Memorial Medical Center. Born Dec. 29, 1964, Windber, son of the late Melvin E. Harr, II and Vera E. Thomas. Preceded in death by a sister, Laurie. Survived by his five daughters, Toni L. and Cheyanne M. Harr, both of Johnstown; Courtney A., Saxton; Samantha M. Migut and Elaina J. Harr, both of Johnstown; fiancé, Antoinette Migut, Johnstown; siblings, Trudy, Barb, Steve, Sue, Lisa, Katie, Betty, Melvin, Tara, and Jess; and numerous extended family members. James was a US Navy veteran and employed with Berkebile Towing and Recovery Service for over 10 years. He was a devoted father, who adored and gloated about his five girls. An avid outdoorsman, he enjoyed the sport of hunting and the craft of reloading shells. He always brought a smile to everyone he spoke to with his hearty laugh and helped anyone in need regardless of circumstances. A memorial service will be celebrated Saturday, Dec. 17, 11 a.m., Beulah United Methodist Church, Pastor David Stains, officiating. In lieu of flowers, family asks for donations to be made to the Elaina J. Harr Trust Fund at any First National Bank.
