Barnosky, Janet E. (Fulton), 64, Northern Cambria, passed away on Monday, July 29, 2019, at UPMC – Altoona. She was born July 17, 1955 in Cherry Tree. Daughter of the late Paul A. and Verna “Mae” (McIlwaine) Fulton. Janet is preceded in death by her parents; her siblings, Verna Fulton and Shirley Nagle. Janet is survived by her children, Brenda S. Gillette (Michael Wojno), Butler, PA; Robert C. Gillette III (Amy), Rural Valley, PA; Jessica R. Mills (Joshua), Chatfield, TX; Christopher Barnosky Jr., Northern Cambria, PA;  grandchildren, Richard, Daniel, Tiffanie, Brandon, Kyle, Breanne, Ryan, Kailyn, Jozlyn and Hailey; 8 great-grandchildren; siblings, Paul A. Fulton and Ronald “Wayne” Fulton; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and other members of extended family. Janet was the Director of the Hastings Public Library, she was also taking on-line courses through North Hampton University to further her education. She was a member and Eurcharistic Minister at Prince of Peace Church, and spent many hours participating in community outreach through the church and the library. Janet enjoyed cooking and was pretty good at it, she also enjoyed arts & crafts, and enjoyed fishing. Family was Janet’s first priority, she enjoyed spending time with them, and never missed family events. Friends and family will be received on Monday August 5, 2019 from 10 AM to 2 PM at Easly-Hindman Funeral Home, 333 Beaver St. Hastings, PA 16646. A funeral mass will be held at 10 AM on Tuesday August 6, 2019 at Prince of Peace Church, 811 Chestnut Ave, Northern Cambria, PA 15714,, Father Matthew Baum, officiating. Interment will be in East Ridge Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Janet’s memory to the Hastings Public Library building fund, 312 Beaver St. Hastings, PA 16646.
