Haupt, Janet J., 83, Circleville, OH, formerly of Johnstown, went to be with the Lord on November 4, 2018 at Pickaway Manor. Born April 25, 1935 in Johnstown, PA. She is preceded in death by the love of her life, husband Ernest “Ernie” W. Haupt, her mother Mary Beatty, and her loving grandparents who raised her, Fred and Lulu Blough. Janet is survived by her children, Charlie Haupt (Brenda Hildebrand), Johnstown; Debbie Yingling (Mike), Steelton; Sharon Sims (Chuck), Circleville, OH; 7 grandchildren, Steve, Matt, Brian, LeeAnn, Tony, Janet, Chuckie; 19 great grandchildren; her siblings, Laura Meyer (Wayne); Harriet Steinbring (Ron); Carol Rhoads; William Beatty (Pam); Helen Sellers (Les); numerous nieces and nephews; and her sister-in-laws; Evie Lohr, and Barb Dallas (James). Janet was a devoted wife of 51 years, a loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She enjoyed swinging outside on her swing, eating sweets, candy, ice cream, and spending time at the cottage. She loved being surrounded by and spending time with her family. She was a member of the Summit Chapel United Methodist Church in Wesley Chapel, and attended the River of Life Church in Circleville, OH. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. Friends and family will be received on Friday November 9, 2018 from 4 PM to 8 PM at Hindman Funeral Homes & Crematory Inc., 1521 Frankstown Road, Johnstown, PA 15902.
